Past simple and Present perfect

Put the verbs in the brackets into the past simple or present perfect tense.

I (know) Jane for a long time, almost since we (be born). We (meet) in the kindergarden for the first time when we (be) five years old and we (be) friends ever since.
We (go) to the same basic school and at secondary school we (be) in the same class. And now we are at the same university. At least we don’t study the same subjects. Jane is studying Maths and I (choose) English. I (always want) to be a teacher and yesterday Jane (tell) she will be a teacher too.
